The Director of Internal AI / Gen AI Internal leads the strategic development and implementation of internal-facing automation initiatives across the organization, combining Artificial Intelligence (AI), generative AI (GenAI), MSaaS applications (Azure Open AI), and robotic process automation (RPA) (Power Automate) to drive digital transformation and operational excellence. Responsibilities include developing and executing enterprise-wide internal intelligent automation strategy, leading a team of automation specialists, establishing governance frameworks, partnering with business units to identify automation opportunities, managing budgets, driving adoption of AI and generative AI solutions, overseeing integration of SaaS platforms, leading RPA program development, ensuring security and compliance, staying current with emerging technologies, evaluating new tools, developing proof-of-concepts, creating ROI measurement frameworks, and building centers of excellence. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (Master's preferred), 10+ years in technology roles, 5+ years leading technical teams and automation initiatives, proven large-scale automation implementation experience, deep understanding of AI and machine learning, extensive SaaS platform experience, strong RPA knowledge, application integration experience, data analytics understanding, process and task mining knowledge, low-code/no-code platform experience, change management skills, strategic planning, stakeholder management, project management, and business process optimization expertise. Desired certifications include cloud platform certifications (especially Azure) and RPA platform certifications (Power Automate preferred).
