Job Description

The Title Clerk position is responsible for the processing of titles from seller to buyer. This position is responsible for the proficient handling of all paperwork associated with titles to ensure they clear DMV. The Title clerk exhibits superior customer service at all times.

Title Clerk responsibilities:

• Provide efficient and courteous service to all customers at all times.
• Accuracy and completion of processing titles from seller to buyer.
• Always exhibit "hands on" and direct approach with customers
• Timeliness, accuracy and completion of the ordering, processing, filing, copying and mailing of titles.
• Accuracy and completion of all in-house titles prior to sale day.
• Responsible for sending title list to dealers.
• Accuracy and completion of correcting all title issues.
• Logging all title numbers into computer system.
• Contacting dealers when titles are ready and/or are past due.
• Greet dealers and assist them as needed.
• Prompt, professional handling of phone calls.
• Ensure visibility and availability from anywhere in the office.
• Responsible for processing reports after sale is over.
• Work well independently as well as a team player.
• Timely communication of issues that may be deemed as detrimental to the success of operations to management.
• Perform other duties as necessary.

Requirements

• Previous office experience preferred
• Title knowledge
• Highly organized
• Self-motivated and self-disciplined
• Customer service orientated
• Computer proficient
