Job Description

Software Development Engineer – Java & Python
We are seeking a skilled Software Developer with experience in Java and Python to write code that runs on host machines and mobile devices, enabling communication between phones and other systems. This role requires hands-on experience in mobile device programming, with a focus on ensuring seamless integration and communication between devices and systems.

Scope:
• Develop and maintain Java applications in an Android environment.
• Work with client-server architecture, including multithreading, profiling, and performance tuning.
• Write and manage unit tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Develop Python scripts in a Linux environment that interact with Android devices running Java.
• Troubleshoot issues, review logs, and perform bug fixes as part of framework modification and maintenance.
• Ensure seamless communication between phones and external machines or systems.

Required:
• Strong experience with both Java and Python (both languages are required).
• Expertise in device-side programming for mobile platforms, especially on phones.
• Familiarity with HTML/CSS for web-related tasks.

Pluses:
• Knowledge of connectivity testing is a plus.
• Experience with networking technologies (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, LTE) and internet/web programming.
• Background in Android development is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with web programming is a bonus.

Estimated Min Rate : $70.00

Estimated Max Rate : $80.00
