Job Description

Luxury and tranquility in an authentic setting, await our guests at Well & Being Spa. As the Spa Manager you will establish and maintain the standards of the Spa etiquette and service in all interactions with guests and staff. Consistency and understanding when implementing the Spa and the Fairmont business objectives, as they relate to operations, finance, human resources, marketing and health & safety is imperative. Executing the business objectives and verbiage to all employees is ongoing, whilst also ensuring that all financial, operations, and marketing opportunities are maximized in alignment with the Spa & Fairmont goals.

What you will be doing: 

  • Maintain current knowledge of all spa services, pricings, offerings, schedules, specials and other services provided at the spa
  • Assist and coordinate onboarding of new hires
  • Staff Schedule Management
  • Assist Principal Therapist and Lead Aesthetician with regular training and education schedule for all staff, collaborating with vendor reps
  • Assist with monthly inventory/ordering
  • Product usage oversight
  • Spa cleanliness and maintenance oversight
  • Colleague follow up including coaching and counseling and documentation
  • Perform both opening and closing MOD shifts as scheduled
  • Assist with handling payroll duties with accuracy adhering to timelines
  • Practice professionalism in every situation with management, guests, and employees treating each person with respect and integrity
  • Other tasks and duties assigned by Spa Director
Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

  • Experience working in the spa industry
  • Positive attitude
  • Knowledge of Book4time and Microsoft office software is an asset.
  • Good communication skills
  • Committed to delivering a high level of customer service
  • Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
  • Ability to work on your own or in teams
  • Adhere to Fairmont Scottsdale Princess grooming guidelines
  • Constant standing and walking throughout shift

Additional Information

Salary Range: $70K - $80K USD

Visa Requirements: Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining U.S. work authorization.
