CNC Machinist & CNC Machinist Lead (2nd Shift)
Schedule: Monday–Thursday | 4:00 PM – 2:00 AM (4x10s)
Location: Greenville, SC
Join a high-performing machining operation that values skill, reliability, and team collaboration. We're hiring CNC Machinists and a CNC Machinist Lead for our second shift team. This is a hands-on opportunity to work with advanced equipment in a clean, well-organized environment with excellent retention and strong leadership.
?? Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate multi-spindle, bar-fed mill-turn CNC lathes (including Malicmores, STARS [Swiss STARS], WY100s, dual spindle, and older lathes)
Perform quality checks using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision tools
Read G & M codes
Conduct first article inspections and document results per ISO standards
Perform routine machine maintenance, fill lubricants and coolant tanks, and report issues as needed
CNC Machinist Lead (additional responsibilities):
Program CNC lathes using M & G codes
Set up, edit, and troubleshoot programs to meet part specifications
Lead and train operators in safe, efficient machining practices
Support production quality and oversee process improvement within your cell
?? What We’re Looking For
Prior experience operating and setting up multi-axis CNC lathes
Familiarity with Swiss turning, bar-fed machines, and dual spindle lathes
Ability to perform first article inspections and document ISO-compliant dimensions
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
Must have programming skills and leadership ability
Must be able to lift 50 lbs and apply strong shop math skills
