Job Description: Our client located in Nashville, TN. is seeking a skilled Cerner HIM Analyst to support EHR conversion efforts across their behavioral health and rehabilitation facilities. This role will focus on the design, build, and optimization of Cerner HIM modules, ensuring efficient workflows, compliance, and a seamless user experience for clinical and administrative staff.

Responsibilities:

• Lead or support the design and configuration of HIM modules within the Cerner Millennium platform (e.g., Deficiency Management, Chart Tracking, ROI).
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative stakeholders to analyze current workflows and map optimized future-state processes.
• Translate regulatory and operational requirements into functional HIM system designs.
• Assist with system testing, validation, and go-live support for EHR conversions at Behavioral Health and Rehabilitation centers.
• Identify workflow inefficiencies and provide recommendations for process improvement and user adoption.
• Serve as a liaison between HIM teams, technical staff, and Cerner representatives during the implementation and optimization phases.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience as a Cerner HIM Analyst, preferably within Behavioral Health, Rehabilitation, or similar settings.
• Proven experience with Cerner build/configuration and design.
• Strong understanding of HIM workflows, regulatory compliance (e.g., HIPAA), and clinical documentation processes.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally with IT, clinical, and operational teams.
